    Hi,

I am interesting in getting into trying some woodfill and bamboo filaments and I am looking for an advice if I need to change my current nozzle (e3d copper 0.4mm) with something else in order to prevent annoying clogs and minimize the wear of the nozzle with the increasing friction such filaments introduce.

    Thanks
    Nick

You should use one of the hardened steel nozzles if you're going to use a filament with 'content'.

If you no not absolutely need 0.4 nozzle I would go to 0.6 or maybe 0.5. I know many have used 0.4 with composite materials successfully, but my ventures into HTPLA-CF I had to give up on 0.4 nozzle. I could not use a pancake motor and Titan with 0.4 nozzle. I needed more torque.

There is a higher chance of clogging which will reduce with a wider nozzle.
