Does anyone know where I can find replacement stepper motors for the 42BYGHM809 Wantai motors?

I have been looking online and cannot seem to find these anywhere (except eBay and I do not shop on eBay at all). If there is an alternative that will work on the X/Y that is fine. My biggest issue is that I cannot find 48 mm motors (48 N-cm) and am wondering if other sizes will also work.

    I did find these:
    https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/h...tep-angle[0.9],13-rated-current-a[1.68,2,2.1]

    Will they work?

My notes show the z-steppers as

    Wantai 42BYGHW609. 1.8°/step, 40.0 N-cm, 1.7 amps, 1.5 ohm, 2.8 mH

If you have the original BB model Tr8x2 leadscrews that gives you a full step resolution of 0.01 mm which is fine. If you have the later BB with the Tr8x8 leadscrews that makes your resolution 0.04 mm (not counting microstepping) which seems to me to be coarser than is ideal.

The OMC one you linked should be fine. the 500 mm leads should reach the controller.

If you have the Tr8x2 leadscrews you can use a smaller (lower torque) stepper without issue. The Tr8x8 ones require 4x as much torque as the original leadscrews so I don't know if there's a lot of room to go smaller with them.

They will work. Other sizes will work too. Probably don't got less than ~26n-cm though.

Link the motors you are interested in and I'll check them for you.
