No, there is 1 ball missing per side. On one of my sliders I have 2 balls missing on one side (so 1 ball missing from what is expected) See the Right hand slider in the image below.
Ok my rail arrived yesterday (Misumi), I wonder why it took you so short amount of time, mine took 10 days and I am in Germany... Now I am just waiting on the idler pulleys... Ordered some on ebay until I realized they are coming from Hongkong... But I don't find any affordable near me...
Found mine on Amazon, 5 for £7 on prime same day. Not sure how fast prime would get to Germany from UK warehouse but might be quicker...https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06VSS4VQF/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Appreciated, I ordered some from Amazon Germany, same vendor and they come from the UK but your link told me not sneding to mainland Germany... Should arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday... Think I got all then... Ready for the rebuild...
Combining this with moving the BigBox to a 3030 frame. All new bits ordered from misumi as IMO they are worth the money. Should all arrive in the next 7 days. Just some more bits to print (my first printer parts designed solely by me *gulp*) and then hopefully ready for the rebuild!
OK seem to have dual prints calibrated pretty much spot on. As a starting point this is my offsets for tool 1: G10 P1 U1.4 Y-6.5 Z0.15
My remix with a BLtouch mount built in is now live!! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2590416 please give me your opinions or advice. I have not printed it nor am I currently in a position to test it.
Thanks. As I cannot order the rail directly from Misumi, I mailed around. Reprap Universe now will deliver the part I'm now waiting for all the parts to be delivered. In the meantime I've been studying the design, and I noticed one thing: there are no belt tensioners, is that right ? Do you have to tighten the belts with a pair of pliers ?
I did, yes. There are teeth to hold it in place and a grub screw, but no tensioner screw like on the original IDEX Direct caridges. I have printed many dual calibration ying yang parts and no slips.
This is my remix BLTouch and molex fit I make that fan little thinner so i can get cables bottom of motor. cables came out in middle to molex. right side I am now printing it out. Maybe in next week i have time to start build this.
Not yeat. Need to try it first. I just noticed that molex integration maybe can hit on top support frame but not sure. Probably need to make that little lower then it should to go bottom it. carriage size is little bigger becouse of bltouch but it not limit moving area. Linear rail carriage hits first to y carriage.
So I have seen a few different numbers flying around. Does any one know for sure what the x axis travel is for the both extruders, or at least one of them. Would it be worth trying to shift the bed to give one extruder full range?
Looking good! I'm planning to upgrade my dual hybrid soon, do you have a link for the front mounted wiper buckets?
They are ones @Alex9779 designed for Gregs first IDEX Direct design. The ones I have I just modified to hold some brass brushes.
