The community has set up what is hoped to be a helpful resource in the future. E3d Bigbox owners group on Facebook. All are welcome, post ideas or show everyone what your working on. I am still an active member of a similar group when I built my I3 and found it super useful look forward to seeing you https://m.facebook.com/groups/1583811291937476?tsid=0.03865463018955767&source=typeahead
Sorry....not another group. Google+ was very much the primary group initially but everyone has been encouraged to keep it all here for the future.
I'd use the FB group for quick response questions and the forum for more detailed info and for record keeping.
Sorry sticking with the official forums. All the good info is here and so are the e3d BigBox founders.
All good information MUST be here... The chaos in information flow is bad enough as it is... But all that want to use Facebook should do that but please make sure that the information is not lost for all that do not have Facebook. Same as G+... No support issues there then all is fine... But still... I'll appreciate information on how a special print was made so I hope that most of the experienced user will at least double post...
If anyone wants to say something relevant to BigBox and wants that posting to be useful to other people (or at least hopes it might be) then please at least copy it into the forums here: so far today, I've found useful information using the search box at the top of this page, failed to find something that I know was posted to the G+ page a while back and, as I don't have a FB login, I can not even open that FB link to see if there is anything interesting present at all.
If you want to start a FB for Big Box users, have at it. Might want to have a link pinned to the "official" forums. The reality is that some people like Forums, some like Google +, some like Facebook. It is all what people like. Building a bigger community for Big Box is really a good thing.
Heh, just had a quick look to see how active it is and it's a closed group - you can't see any information unless you join. That's... Helpful.
It's a very active fun group of people, very kind folk who are always quick to respond and happy to help. An excellent thing given current Bigbox events, the bigger the community the better for everyone. The group is approved by admin due to the amount of random companys that join for the sole purpose of selling stuff. We like to keep it relevant for everyones benefit. Thanks for the interest.
It's just companies selling none relevant stuff that we object to. It's a shame we can't have the page open. As its got bigger It's just easier to manage this way.
I'm glad its closed! I prefer groups this way as not everyone needs to see what I'm doing all the time.
I do not do facebook, so I have no idea if this is possible, but could you make it like read for all and wirte for members only?
I'll have a look at the settings again and see if anything has changed. At the moment its either open where anyone can post or closed for members only to post.
