Hi I got E3D Big Box hybrid pro i think with a 0,4 v6 hotend. Image of my printer: https://www.instagram.com/p/BI5VLf9gOL4/?taken-by=teamperanurkka I built it myself, and been printing for an year now. The temp sensor has been wonky for months, but now it has completely destroyed all my prints. it reads like 10-20 too much at best times, but now it reads 100C+ too much and if i even slightly touch it, it will go ERROR MAX TEMP. I bought a new temp sensor from e3d link: http://e3d-online.com/E3D-v6/Spares/V6-Block-Sock-Kit But if i plug sensor in, it will go directly into ERROR MAX TEMP. I need desperately new working sensor, but what is it? I asked directly e3d, but they do not have time for me. I usually forget things, so if you can please contavt me via mail ville@santikko.net i really need this to be resolved, i got a 30h print waiting, and im too scared to start it with wonky temp sensor.
can i solder them? are there only 2 wires, if i strip the wires and solder, that should get rid of the connector issue. ok, perhaps i got the wrong one, i ordered this just now. hopefully it gets here asap: http://e3d-online.com/PT100-sensor-cartridge?search=pt100 Thanks for your answers
You can but it will be less replaceable, try finding a more stable connectorto solder on, it worked for me
