Hello, I'm still looking for my calibration problem. I do not know what is wrong, So here is the method that I practice, 1 - I lower my head until I catch a sheet on the board, 2- I then make a G92 Z0 3- I raise the head to about 50mm 4- I release the BL TOUCH 5- I lower the head until the BL TOUCH goes up and lights up 6- I open my config file and change the value here; Z probe and compensation definition ; *** If you have a switch instead of an IR probe, change P1 to P4 in the following M558 command M558 P1 X0 Y0 Z0; Z probe is an IR probe and is not used for homing any axes G31 X0 Y0 Z1.65 P500; Set the zprobe height and threshold (put your own values here), And when the machine restarts I make G1 Z0 F1500 and the head come to sink a big blow in the plate, w hat am I doing wrong? Thank you
The best thing to do is read and follow @Ephemeris's guide for bed levelling. I can't find it with the crappy search engine on the forum, so hopefull you can find it or Eph will spot this and route you. That said, you'd probably have to adjust his guide for the BLTouch a little as it's based on using the IR sensor.
My leveling guide is here https://forum.e3d-online.com/index.php?threads/my-guide-to-duet-mesh-auto-leveling.2456/ It's specific to the BigBox with a Duet WiFi and the stock (Escher3D) infrared Z-sensor, but maybe it will help you. I need to update it at some point, but you know how it is
