    Hi all,
I'm in the process of making a Prusa i3 custom build. I'm planning on using a chimera hotend with two Titan extruders. I'd like to have the extruders on the x-carriage if possible, and keep it as a direct feed style. Has anyone designed a mount that can do this?

There is no way to get titans as close as 18mm between filament output. So you have a few choices.
    1. Hybrid, one extruder on the x carriage and one bowden.
    2. Angled of offset Titans with a short PTFE-tube between.
    3. One titan stacked on top of the other. the one on top needs a longer PTFE tube for feeding the Chimera..

    Or use a different extruder.

    That's the route I'm going :D

I'm converting to Zesty Dual Nimble to use a Chimera with narrow footprint. Just because those other choices did not sound good to me.
