    Hi All,
Just wanted to share my BigBox upgrade, I'm calling it the "Diamond BigBox". I just finished installing and test printing a Diamond Hotend by Reprap on the my BigBox pro. Here are some pictures of the set up as well as it's first print.

Does the dimond have some sort of active mixing chamber? looks like you have a great uniform mix on the light green and orange, unless something else is going on that I am not aware of.

I would say the diamond hotend and set up made it easier to do. The color mixing is pretty good, but I think that I could do better with some solid and not transparent colors, I just used what I had in stock. It needs a few more tweaks.

I would love to try this but I don't really want to rearrange my big box lol.

Maybe after I get some print time on it.

Have you shared your stl files the X carrage?

What would you estimate the investment cost of the diamond, hotends steppers ect.

I bought the diamond hotend from kickstarter, then designed and printed the parts, then had to buy some new stepper motors and drivers, a few other odds and ends. So maybe somewhere around $250 -300 USD

What technology are you using to manage the colour mixing? Is this something Simplify 3d will/can do for you?

    Hey Jeremy,

Did you have the time to make those BB design files available?

Hey guys, Sorry I drop off the face for a while, just busy with life. If anyone is still interested I'd be happy to answer questions.

I've been using Simplify 3d to created mixed colors. Trying to follow what Reprap has on there page. I have yet to get true color mixing as described from them. The issue I'm having is a programing one for firmware and since I haven't spent the time to learn its been slow going.
