I bought a new e3dv6 recently. While installing it I noticed that my heater cartridge cables were worn, so I ordered a new cartridge as well. My new heater cartridge just arrived today. I attempted to install it in the heater block, but with the screw fully tightened to the point of the block showing deformation, the cartridge is still loose and comes out easily. This is while the hotend is stone cold. It has not even been installed, much less heated up. There seems to be something quite wrong here. How do I get it resolved? Thanks.

Don't know if E3D would recommend this procedure but to fix loose fitting cartrtriges I pressed the block in a vice a tiny bit at a time and stopped just before the block would grip the cartridge. Then I would let the screw do the rest of the job. I was afraid to ruin the screw when I assembled at least one of the heaters.

You need to loosen the vice between each tightening as the block will flex back a bit.
