Hello Folks I have been fighting with the kraken for quite a while, i have a few problems with consistent extrusion. My setup: Eustathios variant. E3D Kraken with E3D V6 Heater blocks and 0.4mm Nozzle. 500-700mm long bowden tube. |Robert|'s Extruder (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/alternative-um2-feeder-version-two) Simplify3D Maybe someone can help me with some settings for the Kraken because either i get under extrusion when doing retraction and moving to another spot or im getting over extrusion all over the print. I'll post a picture later. (Vase print is printing beautifully). But i get blobs / zits or what we should call it, i tried editing the coasting and wiping settings. But my experience of a long bowden tube is minimal. Maybe someone can enlighten me with some info or have some good insight of printing with long bowden tubes without too many defects? Thanks. Thomas Update: Sorry im late for the pictures here they are: https://goo.gl/photos/UnJ2UQiBy8K4Ccpo9 https://goo.gl/photos/XF48kL1A2a8V5gp39
I think the people who might be able to help, probably not me, would like to know your current retraction settings, and just all of your settings actually. If they are in the images then disregard, I can't see those at work,
Ofc. Good idea. The settings aren't in the picture. But have changed my hotend to E3D V5 now and shortened the bowden tube i had and that solved alot of the errors. So my thinking leads to a too long bowden tube. So i think i should just close this thread until i mount my Kraken again. Thanks Chase
