Hi so i decided to move away from Printing with the volcano on the BB PRO.

Instead i wanted to try out the normal heater block with Tungsten nozzle i got on KS, this together with the MBL setup on the BB.

But i have hit a problem, after i do the MBL sequence. I cant get the nozzle to print on the Bed there is still the 1 cm gap. Tried using the Z offset but it only goes so far until it stops.

I have shifted the IR sensor as far down as it goes as its attached to the bed.

    Thanks for the help.

-Ephemeris, Hey Thanks for the advice the sentence "What is the distance between the lower edge of the IR sensor board and the print bed?" got me looking at the printer again and realized there was about 4 mm left to shift up the IR mount!

Sometimes all you need is a step back and look at it with fresh eyes.

    Cheers
