I have no idea what you're on about?? DO YOU HAVE ANY SETTINGS ADVICE FOR PRINTING PLA WITH THE 0.25 NOZZLE?
Don't the defaults work if you just alter the nozzle size to 0.25? I don't have one of those tiny nozzles, but setting nozzle diameter to 0.25 and using auto extrusion with in S3D will set a 0.3 nozzle diameter and you could use anything from there up to about 0.5 fairly safely I would think. Everything else should just be left as it is initially.
Thanks, this is kinda where i'm at with the settings, I think the issue is cooling or lack thereof, I have the sock on and the fan running at 100 but the heat radiation is still too much(the part is a tiny figure of a man at 30mm high), I can get better results by printing multiple copies(head spends less time over each part) but the standard fan(v1.1 pro hybrid) only blows from the rear. Do you happen to know of a source of a better fan shroud?
I have same issue with small parts using 0.4 nozzle and ended up doing the same thing, i.e multiple parts spaced out on bed. For the 1.1 hybrid dual, There is another cooling shroud, but I believe it requires the heat blocks to be rotated, and removal/relocation of the the bed sensor.
@Paul Begley , this is not the best solution for the problem, but it is the one I use: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1869814 It works for me because I don't use the left nozzle (long story), but still have a dual head with the IR sensor in the original position. At present, I'm following the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" path, but I'm more and more tempted to get an IDEX system running.
