The supervolcano is certainly intended for high flow rate situations with fat nozzles, but it'd be useful to have a 0.4mm nozzle available for experimentation. Personally, I could see it useful for printers that have a SuperVolcano installed but occasionally need extra resolution, or from machines that have very fast mechanics and still want the high resolution.

I'd also really appreciate a 0.4mm nozzle for the supervolcano. I wonder why it wasn't initially offered. Is there some reason 0.4 won't work well on these long nozzles?

Supervolcano has been amazing for big fast prints (thanks E3D), but with several smaller prints I just can't get the detail I need.

0.4mm would result in some pretty long residence times, carbonizing the polymer.

Generally if you're printing at 0.4mm, a regular Volcano would get you to the linear speed limits of most printers.

We have a dual extruder setup but the height adjustment range does not allow a mix of Supervolcano and other nozzle types like volcano. because of this we have to use either dual Supervolcanos or dual Volcanos, and cannot mix.

Please release a 0.4mm nozzle for Supervolcano so we can have one nozzle with 0.4mm and another with a larger diameter (i.e. 0.6mm or 1.0mm).

We typically print 0.6mm and 1.0mm on Supervolcano but we often need 0.4mm resolution for certain parts. We would like to have a 0.4mm Supervolcano nozzle on one extruder and larger Supervolcano nozzle size on the other.

We print very large parts up to 1.2 meter height, 0.6 meter width so Supervolcano nozzles are needed for speed (printer is Modix 120Z). However, the 0.6mm nozzle is not high enough resolution for the entire print. Certain areas need more resolution.

Regarding carbonizing the polymer, we can lower the temperature on the 0.4mm nozzle to avoid that.

    Please help!
