So while only a tiny portion of this was 3D printed, figuring this is a british forum, I just had one of my medical robot devices written up by the Raspberry Pi guys after they interviewed me (I met the team while at MakerFaire NYC)

    Nice work Henry :)

It's always great to see the inventive ways people are using stuff, be it the one 3d printed part or a Rasperry Pi or other off the shelf stuff they already have handy. Good work, and nice to see it written up - I'm sure that's going to inspire a lot of other ideas.

Actually I am not being fair, we also 3D printed the molds to cast the silicone stents (although amusingly we can't actually pour the silicone since we aren't a FDA certified manufacturer, so we sent the molds to a local company)

Oh, I go through gallons of silicone. As long as you aren't putting it in an actual person, they could care less... But once you do, you have to be a certified manufacturer.
