Printed an Air Raid Siren in PETG Transparent Blue and Transparent yellow. Had a hell of a time between slicer issues and getting settings for PETG finetuned but final result looks pretty good! Note Simplify 3D has a feature/bug (depending on how you look at it) where in order to keep slicing and models as accurate as possible it has an option to account for the actual extruded width of the plastic. The issue is that if a model is made for a .40 nozzle then the extruded width is .48 so Simplify3D doesn't print the wall, the model I printed had supports built in for a .40 nozzle and my finished slicing just omitted all the .40 walls!! It's a known issue and many are asking for an option to alert and allow users to ignore or force the areas to print but so far no dice. The fix is to change a setting under the [Extruder] tab 'Extruder Toolhead' called 'Extrusion Width' to 'Manual' and change it to [0.35]mm.
Found it on Thingiverse Be aware with all internal gears etc.. this print if 150+ hours see the photo below for the entire parts to print and note the turbine is 3 separate parts (but in photo is assembled already)! http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1176646
