Apparently, these should be included in the BigBox 2.0 ;)

    Hi,

Do I need a damper for each Stepper, so 6 in total?

    Cheers,
    Thomas

It's super quiet with one on compared to my old printer I must say (well it would be were it not for that jet turbine of a chassis exhaust fan at the back) that thing needs throttling down a peg or two.

Thanks for the boost @Spoon Unit .

Just fitted it (M3 6mm can be easily procured if you have a vice and a hacksaw).

Anyone who thinks that the Astrosyn is not necessary or makes a marginal difference is insane, deaf, fitted it wrong or are optimising margins!

Can't believe I didn't get around to it until now.

Seems these are out of stock direct from Astrosyn until the end of June, fortunately still some out there with resellers.

Not like I'm going to see my BB kit arrive before the end of June anyway at this rate, but best to be prepared :)

Guess Bigbox Ltd. bought them all: they're shipping as default with 1.1 and you'll see why when you've fitted. ;)

You'll just need the M3 x 6mm screws as mentioned.

The second one is just a spare for the time being.

Nothing wrong with having spares :). I don't think this part is going to wear out though.
