As the cheap ones are sold out almost anywhere and if you don't want to wait, this one is worth a try if you have a dual and some flexible filament in the house:

Visiting Dublin a few days. Wondering if they could be sourced there. I haven't found any in Norway.

Ah so they are listed in the 1.0 to 1.1 upgrade kit of parts?

What's the source of this info that the BB 1.1 comes with dampers? I don't recall seeing it ever stated officially anywhere, just curious.

The price went up by more than the cost of the Titan upgrade, apparently they needed the extra margin to cover costs.

Here in Belgium I've seen the - very odd - restaurant with dishes priced at 7.42 euros and the like. Whenever it was this country adopted the euro (currency) they methodically calculated their new prices based on the original in Belgian Francs. 99% of businesses - of course - took the opportunity to round to 7.95. And since then even more have seen the light.

In a material society, pricing is driven at root what might be called "the pleasure of making money", constrained by the inflection of a yield curve (involving quantity) that must be experimentally determined then continuously evaluated and revised.

One might even say that for the vast majority it's the Meaning of Life.

On the path to inner peace it is of course a blind alley, the bald admission that one does not find fulfillment in what one does.

And it can (will) also distract from the infinitely difficult job of doing something well.

None of which is not to say that running a business is not frequently like climbing the down escalator. There might be debts to pay off. Costs escalate.

Personally, I reckon the bearings might also have been upped. Or will that have to wait for 1.2? ;)

This is typical for Kickstarter vs. post-Kickstarter sales. The Kickstarter units are always offered at a discount relative to retail due to the inherent risk of a Kickstarter campaign.

They had been 'post-Kickstarter' for some time though, and to be honest the only reason it somewhat irked me was that when I contacted them to ask if it was possible to avoid the waste inherent in buying a BB and then a Titan upgrade I was asked to give them a couple of days to update the website and they slipped the price increase in while I was waiting at their request...

Not really what I would regard as good customer service ...

Had they finished KS fulfillment yet?

I'm sure if you point out the change they'll honor the old price + upgrade cost.

Yes, as far as I am aware they had finished KS stuff.

I have pointed out my dissatisfaction with the price change and received noting more than a statement to the effect that they needed the extra money and a stony silence after that ...

Not impressed so far to be honest.

I am confused, so with v1,1 and Titan upgrade do I still need to order dampers? Two or three?
I don't know if I need them elsewhere.
