I'm trying to install the Revo on my Qidi X-plus with Bondtech direct drive extruder. Replacing the eV6 hotend. When I go to preheat nozzle shows a temperature of 1175 when it's cold.

Checked resistance on my 3v6 thermistor when cold and it shows no resistance.
Revo cold is showing 53K Ohm.

Is this normal? Will have have to modify the firmware to work with the Revo? I hope not as Qidi uses a proprietary firmware.

    Thanks for any hep.

Qidi printers use K type thermocouples and the Revo uses a NTC type, ie. settings for measuring temps are different.
Yes, you do have to modify the firmware to use the revo.

Thanks ThisIsKenta. Do you know of anyone who has successfully done this?
