it should be £90 for the kit.

"It's like that because the configurable hermes can be configured as a bowden, and it displays the lower price"

Jolly good. I don't feel so bad about my purchase now then I guess. I'll just have yet another set of block, thermistor and heater to go in the spares box (I also have the TC ones as I 'upgraded' to copper/titanium/PT100/HT cartridge to make printing polycarbonate more pleasurable.

I'll keep an eye on thingiverse: I can print the bits tonight as fingers crossed, fed-ex next day is actually next day.

I have a few lumps of acetal here, some POM filament (bitch to print!!) and polycarbonates/nylons. I might have a go at making my new tool plate into a whole new tool head and make them interchangeable. Watch this space.

    That's a good point.

Looking at the printer, I'm not sure they'd need to be mirrored, there looks to be room for either direction.

Excellent.. Thanks Greg, I'll fire up the printer!

If the Hermera prints as well as I hope it well on such a noice platform: I'll order three more! (you wait, they'll sell out thanks to YouTubers!.. LOL)

On the face of it, and before even getting one in my hands: my only critisism of the design is the retention of the 'reverse bowden' looks like the Titan, ie: crap. The bondtech has a pneumatic connector on the input, making loading remotely very easy. Greg: in your photos on thingiverse you seem to have some 4mm ID tube over the feed tube. Does this work well enough to load filament without having to touch the extruder as I can with my (probably now redundant) bond-techs?

    Many thanks.

I only do that as I like to do manual loads/unloads, the PTFE is cut and the tube just holds the two bits together. If you want to automate things I'd leave it as a single bit.

Well I just ordered four Hemera kits.

Anyone building 4 deltas and need 4 threaded V6's and Titans :)

On a more serious note, anyone here who has already done something with other direct drives happen to know the length of the cable runs for the steppers?

I take this back: I've just watched the promo video and the tube doesn't go where I thought it did.. Looks like they will auto-load fairly well!

Good point! I'd better make sure I have enough hook up cable! Amazon prime to the rescue... carbon footprint be damned.

Kinda wish I'd ordered 4 now.. but then again I was somehow under the impression there would be a different model for the toolchanger machines, or at least a different kit.

I'd imagine you'll need whatever the machine has now, plus 200 mm plus the length of the current bowden PTFE tube. Ish. I have some male and female molex connectors here (the male are supposed to be through-hole mount, but nothing some heat shrink won't fix I'm sure) so will try with an extension cable before making up a new loom.

My 4 Hemera arrive today....I'd like to extend the existing extruder cabling "properly"...i.e. preferably a proper made up extender call with female and Male plugs.

Does anyone have to hand the spec of the extruder cable connector?
