Post your armada!
Not sure i'll bother after seeing your army!
@LiviLammister Did you join the filament to make the tricolor benchy? Or do you have the first BigBox-Tri?
I joined the remaining bits of sample filament I had from the stretch box because I kept on running out haha.
I'm getting seasick ;-)
Some navy Livi
In the Works, Does this make me Admiral?
I accidentally ordered the convertible benchy model....
Can someone please take a pic on the bakside text on a normal scale / size benchy printed with a BigBox? Still w8ing for mine to be sent... =)
Printed on a zortrax m200 0.14 Layer height, w8ing on my BB =)
Hmm, there is quite a bit of ghosting there on the back, you should send the file to the support team and have them tweak the software to account for it just kidding. The Zortrax was going to be my first printer, it is amazing what that thing can do.
Stealth Benchy, printed in "clear". Once I got the thermal runaway fixed (had to do by hand, as the ethernet on the Pi doesn't seem to work), got it printing as first print off the printer... Settings changes from the experts? (clear wouldn't have been my first choice, but had an open spool)
Is that polycarb?
Ghostly, straight out of the Bermuda Triangle!
Actually it's just "raw" or "natural" PLA (from Adafruit) which I had already open. Man it is hard to see things in clear (like the writing on the back is clearly there, but invisible in any lighting I have looked at it in)
Thats cool, I have printed a few things with polycarb and have never been able to achieve that kind of clarity I will have to try some natural material :-D
@Henry feldman : This is spooky ! I printed the same Benchy this weekend. Flying Dutchman ahoy !
Printed with REAL PETG, at 230°C gradually increasing to 250°C
Once I am more comfortable over the next few days, I am going to try a print in T-Lyne (I have 2 spools). That should be more glass-like. And of course indestructible, given the extreme ruggedness of t-lyne, maybe I will try a benchy stress test (car running over, etc)
