Bearings, bit poo aint they.

    These tiny bearings are rubbish. I've had 6 fail on me now in the last few months. Anyone have any better options.

    Mine had failed too. Seems like a faulty batch of bearings.
    I bought a couple from SKF and submerged them in oil before installing them. No issues so far.

    If you get any issues with bearings, don't hesitate to contact support to get the parts replaced. We are working hard to improve the quality, and hopefully our QC procedures should reduce the number of failures of Titans out in the wild.

    Antoine, thank you for the quick reply. I'll contact support, but I rather purchase the bearings locally, the cost of shipping parts as cheap as the bearings is enormous. I appreciate the responsibility and the will to make your product working for all clients.
    Instead, I would like to see the root problem solved, which in my opinion is a machining error on the hobbed shaft. Please see my comment on this thread https://forum.e3d-online.com/index.php?threads/titan-aero-drive-gear-and-bearing-alignment.2721/
