It shouldn't be to hard. I can the tracks from the coating on my plate, and they definitely dont spray i on so just dissolve and apply with sponge or something ind that direction.

There are other solvents that will dissolve PEI, where did you read that dicholoromethane should be the thing to use?

Wasn't @Sanjay talking about that solvent (or maybe an other) in one of the Q&A session during the KS campaign? How dangerous they are?

    How about this..?

A general procedure for the fabrication of microporous films is as follows: The Ultem polyimide is dissolved at the desired concentration in a suitable solvent, such as 1,3-dimethoxybenzene. The solution is poured onto a glass slide that is placed in the spin-coating apparatus. The slide is then spun at the desired rpm for a specified length of time. The glass slide, having a dorm polymer/solvent film on it, is immediately submersed in a bath of non-solvent, such as toluene. After about five minutes, the resulting microporous film is removed and airdried over night The microporous polymer film is floated off the glass slide in water, and fractured through the middle for SEM analysis. SEM is used to determine film thickness and average pore size. Porosity is inferred from density measurements, which are calculated from the dimensions of the glass slide, and the thickness and weight of the polymer 5

I don't have my bed from clever3d yet, but I have pictures:

They put it up in the store... Three options now for the BB, "normal" still with the wrong chamfer but I informed Frank about it and he told me he's going to change that to the 11mm I measured on the glasses, the one with the step (made for me) and one just a rectangle...

@Irawan Tri Kusumo Frank from clever3d contacted me today that someone from Bali asked him to get the same plate like I did and if that is ok. I told him yes, that was you, wasnt' you? :D
So are they sending the plate to Indonesia?

@Alex9779 Yes, that's me.. I am asking them to get me the exact order you have :D . I guess they can send it to Bali, Indonesia. And if they can use DHL, that's a good news for me.

@Stian Indal Haugseth based on @Alex9779 drawing, I have edited and redrew his drawing in Inkscape ( pardon me I am not an expert in drawing) also I hope @Alex9779 does not mind I was using his drawing :D

    BedWMagnet.jpg

I have ordered the same plate as Alex's order from clever3d, but I am still interested in installing the magnets at the bed. I think it will be easier to take it off from the PCB/printer.
The magnets that I am going to use is from the web that you shared, here is the link. It has about 6mm diameter and 2 mm thickness, and it has grade N42SH which has the the Max Operating Temperature of 150ºC (302ºF) . Now the question in my mind is how we stick the magnets, I think we need glue which has High Temperature resistant... can I use this : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ID8IUJY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just discovered this thread ... what is the verdict on the metallic bed? Does it make any sense?

Nice. So, how to to attach the PCB to it and how heavy is it?
Looking at it ... I cannot help thinking that it might be best to have a kapton heater instead of a pcbs one like for my FelixPro1 (but not with the same contact system that I am suffering like crazy because of it now).
