    I agree with a-dragon-in-a-pie-costume.
The S3d raft starts its base layers much thicker than your common layer settings, So having not enough clearance between the bed and nozzle would explain why your extruder is clicking when trying to push out the filament when printing without the raft.

I would suggest going back to the printer commissioning section in the build manual.
    Section 4, Sub section 3.

I prefer the method of only just seeing light between the bed and the nozzle tip, some prefer using a piece of paper as a spacer (So it can slide between the bed and the nozzle (Firm but not tight)

Post your outcome so we can see how your doing.

    Hi,

My left fan for my big box dual seems to be vibrating quite a bit as compared to the other fan and making very loud sounds. Could someone help me identify what is the problem? Is it the fan speed...?

    Thanks

both fans should be connected to the same outlet, check if
    a) the connection is ok
    b) there's nothing on/in the fan such as filament strings
    c) all blades are stable and not broken

sounds like the blade is to blame... you could get a new fan from filastruder but you will need to solder it as the wire isn't long enough(speaking from experience)

Pie, I had Filastruder order some from E3D with long leads for me. He may have some left
