I'm rather a novice to 3D printing however I have just completed the bigbox dual printer but I do have some annoying issues preventing me from using the machine!
The first issue is when executing the extruder_0.gcode file. The dual extruder seems to jam/ram into the right hand side of the Y axis which causes the entire process to stop. Another issue I have is with the turing of the filament feeding motor, it rotates in yhe wrong direction! Im not sure if this is because I may have put the extruder wires in the wrong locations or if something else is wrong!
I am very confused as my printer auto homes and is calibirated according to the instructions. I will post a video in due course as I want to start printing ASAP!
    Please help! Thankyou

ok after seeing the video.... what is your x e-steps setting?
And your x microstepping settings (jumpers) under the xStepper driver?

I did manually heat up the extruder to 210 degrees as per the instructions - You can see the problem in the video I posted

that's ok... not sure what doat setting does :)

been there too and still I am:)

Next thing maybe you have not the correct stepper motor on X,
we have 0.9° and 1.8°, you need the 0.9 as of this

Yes it seems to only travel 5mm instead of 10 - very odd

That is the opposite of what I would expect.

since the is the Docking g-code
    G1 X95 Y200 F3000
    G1 X95 Y235 F3000
    G1 X105 Y235 F3000

This means it moves x to max105 which is the 1/3 of it's ~300
And the head moves left to right when you use the lcd and move the x +?

Wait have I been thinking x and y are totally different? - When I move x it moves back and forward!
