    Hi Lance,

First the good news. There is an extended IR mounting bracket, as well as a "converter to volcano" adapter for the cooling fan in the BigBox stl files on thingiverse in the BigBox stl download. I am using the extended IR mount and it works well.

Now the bad news. I have printed out the adapter as I use volcano myself, but I have no clue as to how to use it, as it doesnt seem to fit the the cooling fan at all. Maybe someone else here has managed to get it to work....?

I've printed it and the fan fitted with no problems at all.

It's not mounted on the printer at the moment, but here you go:

What aspect of yours doesn't fit, the space for the fan, screws etc? Could it just be over extrusion?

Actually I don't understand why yours seems to fit perfectly without an adapter ....?

It sounds like we're talking about different parts, the thing I printed is a longer fan mount rather than an adapter.

I checked the original BB STL files, the one I printed is hybrid_hi_temp_dual_fan_volcano.stl from the hybrid\hi temp folder.

Ok that explains it.... I printed the hybrid_volcano_fan_adaptor in the hybrid folder... It doesnt work with Gregs new fan... printed 5 and broke them all trying
