it might just be my slicer but the bowden extruder makes clicky sounds, always peints super thin layers on first layers and isn't exactly reliable, help?

could be bed calibration required. i have a kossel that did this, due to nozzle being too close (or touching ) the bed on the first layer, this causes both symptoms, thin first layer and clicking bowden extruder as the filament cannot be forced through so back pressure builds up.
