Hi I've been playing around trying to get my prints to work - realising that print surface being perfectly flat is the key to successful and good looking prints. As well as limiting speed so that my corners look more square than rounded.

After printing a 4x4x4 cube I have noticed that the dimensions are off by half a millimeter - how do I correct this so that my prints are accurate?

Since you did not state which way they are off you are likely over extruding or under extruding.

You can adjust this on the LCD menus or you can adjust it via the slicer.

On the LCD it is esteps and in the slicer it is an extrusion multiplier.

Also make sure you go to the wiki and calibrate your extrusion rates.
