How does the durability of the nickel plated copper nozzles compare with plain brass? Particularly with abrasive filaments like carbon filled. Thanks.

I can't imagine either copper or brass being a tenth as good as hardened steel, and the possible extra cost would be far outweighed by the considerable saving in time and trouble dismounting and refitting worn out copper or brass.

    E3D sell hardened steel nozzles...

Use only the hardened nozzle. I real of carbon filled filament will cause a lot of wear on a brass or copper nozzle and make them perform poorly. My hardened nozzle has now done 800+ hours with no degradation.
