    Hello everyone

I have recently changed my stock cr10s hot end to the v6 gold one and trying to reach 285 degrees and around 270 mark I get thermal runaway. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks in advance

In the early days of the BigBox "Thermal Runaway" was not the temperature getting too high as the term suggests, but a cooling effect on the heater block/nozzle so that the temperature never reached the desired setting. This was often due in the BigBox case to the print cooling fans being positioned incorrectly (probably too high) so that they blow on the heater block not on the print. "Runaway" in this case was downward.

If you have any form of monitoring such as OctoPrint then this temperature change is easy to see.
