I wanted something cushier and less skiddish under my BB, so I whipped up these. The socket (in ABS or similar) has a beveled recess, the pad (NinjaFlex) has a matching flare that engages the recess and holds the pad securely in place. I printed the pads at 40% infill (using a hexagonal pattern in Simplify3D), which seems to give the right amount of firmness combined with resilience.

No need for different screws, the supplied M3s work fine. I doubt if these feet will make the BB any quieter, but they may damp some of the vibrations. DSC_0208.jpg

    Make 6. ;)

They will certainly stop it walking off the desk, which was something someone else mentioned.

They are quite grippy, though not as grippy as e.g. a router mat. NinjaFlex doesn't glue well to other plastics, hence the 2-part design (if you could call it a design). Anyway I'm pleased with the way it worked out: the pads can be installed or removed with a bit of squeeze & push, but stay put otherwise.

Still working up my NinjaFlex chops, but at least I got the stuff printing.

fwiw- I printed the original feet in TPU and that has also worked out well.
