I ordered both a Titan extruder and the E3D v6 hotend ("all metal… full kit") from amazon. The extruder came in what looks like an official E3D box, and included "documentation" (a card with a URL for a webpage). However, the v6 hot end hand came in a plain brown box, with parts grouped in plain plastic bags. No paperwork or packaging indicated E3D. There is a silicone "sock" with E3D on it, but that wouldn't be hard to replicate. How do I know if I received an authentic kit? For the price you pay, I was expecting a hologram, or at least official looking packaging. The Amazon seller was 3DMakerWorld.
