So, the stock extruder stepper on my Ender 3 stopped working, so I bought a "Compact but powerful" stepper. Because I went from a 1.8 to a 0.9 stepper, I doubled the steps, great. However, as soon as the stepper skips a step it just gives up and never turns again until I power cycle the printer. I've set the mA to 950 as per (1.68*0.80)/1.414, but it still does it. If I DO get it to print, it just randomly quits whenever it wants - usually when it skips a step. SKR Mini E3 1.2 with TMC2208's. What am I doing wrong - ready to just send it back to be honest.
