    Hi Bob,

If you purchased it recently it will be a Semitec (#5 in Marlin). They are recognisable because of the tiny bead - about 1.5mm across.

Our older HotEnds used EPCOS thermistors which have a larger (~2.5mm) are #1, but unless your HotEnd has been sitting around for 6+ months you are unlikely to have one of these.

    Hope this helps,
    Josh

Thanks. I purchased it with my Filawinder kit. I had purchased a MakerFarm 13v printer with their .40 Hexagon Nozzle. I have had several blockages due to heat creep on the nozzle. Thanks for the info.

All E3D hotends sold through Filastruder use the Semitec thermistors.
