    Hello All,

Thought I would share my modification of my Flashforge Creator Pro X/Y carriage to accept an E3D hot end. I first printed the parts for adapting the Flashforge carriage to the E3D hotend from the Matterhackers tutorial here:

    https://www.matterhackers.com/articles/hack-your-makerbot-with-an-e3d-all-metal-hotend

I wasn't happy with how rigid the E3D/carriage assembly was so I designed my own mounting system for the E3D hot end and cut the parts out of aluminum on my CNC router. See the attached pictures of the E3D hot end mounted to the X/Y carriage of the Flashforge. The assembly is very rigid and I am seeing great improvements in print quality over the stock extruder set up. Please let me know if you have any questions!
