    Hello everyone,

First let me say I am totally new to 3D printing so my apologies for stupid remarks/questions.

I'm trying to print PEKK filament (3mm) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyetherketoneketone) with a leap frog creatr dual extruder. I already modified the printer to 1 extruder and made a custom hotend and nozzle (ceramic), use custom thermocouples. The problem is that the nozzle clogs and it just doesn't work. I thought maybe I can buy the E3D v6 hotend and nozzle, mount it on the printer and try to print with that.

Can any of you help me if this would be possible / would work? I'm aiming for temperatures of at least 430 degrees C, up to about 460 degrees C. The specs state that the max temperature is 400 degrees. Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance!

    Jasper

You'll need a copper block and a thermocouple cartridge, should be fine otherwise.
