I use the same hairspray on all my prints and in my opinion there is nothing better. If I try to release the parts before the glass cools I need a chisel and hammer to break them free so I learned to let the glass cool a little.
Yeah I tried the hairspray thing and man hot or cool still couldn't get the parts off. the UHU sticks they sell work so much better. I throw it on generously for abs and a very light coat for pla. once the bed cools the pieces just come off. you can hear cracking from the pieces letting go of the surface.
