This is my extruder made based on my E3D 1.75mm hotend. You just need to print and snap-fit the hotend, no need for bolts to hold the hotend - although I have provided a hole if you prefer having a bolt. The extruder has a really small gap in the hobbed portion of the bolt/pulley, so you can print any flexible filament with no issue at all. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:220493
Looks good Alex - a nice and simple design.. What is the most flexible filament you have managed to get down it?
Hi Josh, so far I have printed: ABS, PLA, Taulman 618, 645 and T-Glase.. Not even a glitch.. By the way, this extruder with MK8 is amazing.. recommended. Cheers. Alex
