I am surprised that I have to set the flow rate so high in order to get the outer layers of an object to bond to each other. I also have to have the temp set to 242c (ABS) or the threads don't fuse together well. I do have the nozzle set to 0.4 in the slicer (Cura via Repetier interface). I suspect the temp is a little too high because, even at 4.2mm retraction @ 40mm/sec, (bowden) I am getting stringers.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    Thanks!
