As some of you might know for a while I maintained a parallel firmware to make new RCs of Marlin available for the BigBox.
I have a repository with settings for the BigBox too, currently just holding profiles for S3D (and the scripts I use there separate for reference).
Some of you used them, I use them quite successfully.

I reviewed the profiles Greg put up to the new official repository and they are still really generic. Auto configuration is not really working especially for the duals, the material settings are more than generic, they are like written off a schoolbook. That's not Greg's fault, they seem to be from the profile he based the profiles on. But I don't want to pull request something to the official repo I didn't test or have not the ability to test.

In my new role as the gateway between you and E3D I wanna try to get the profiles as the standard ones but to get to that point I need feedback and people testing and using the various derived profiles especially for the Pro versions (Pro and Hybrid-Pro).

So I ask for some people who try them, report back, or if comfortable with Github create issues or even pull requests.

In the profiles I make heavy use of the auto configuration feature, there are some material presets, there are several quality presets and for the dual versions extruder switching.

You should have at least RC6 for this because of the accelerated heatup cycle! Marlin had an infinite loop issue in prior versions!

So for everyone who is interested you find the profiles on Github:
    https://github.com/Alex9779/BigBox-Settings

If you have no experience with Github here are direct links, right click the links and select "Save link as...":
    BigBox Pro.fff
    BigBox Dual.fff
    BigBox Hybrid-Pro.fff
    BigBox Hybrid-Dual.fff
    BigBox Hybrid-Dual Mirrored.fff

Or get the whole repository as a ZIP (<50KB): https://github.com/Alex9779/BigBox-Settings/archive/master.zip

I clicked them all and all the files were downloaded...
Even on the iPhone I get the files and can save them in apps...

Same here. Think it's got to do with the fact you are logged in and we are not.
Your links point to raw.githubusercontent.com. When I change that to github.com they work.

Strange when I hover the links it is "raw.github.com/..."
When I click them I get to "raw.githubusercontent.com/..." and even I am not signed into Github right now the files start to download...

Man did my world get very unhappy once I switched to that profile. Several times it overrode my temp settings, and was refusing to print (it would just sit there forever). (big box dual.fff)

@Henry feldman which firmware are you using? You should have RC6 to use this because earlier version had a problem with an infinite loop when heating up, just what you describe...
What do you mean by "overriding your temp settings"?

Hehe, strange stuff. Had to look into download on GitHub but it's not possible to get a straight download link.

A possibility is that you can have people download everything each time, https://github.com/Alex9779/BigBox-Settings/archive/master.zip. With the added bonus that you don't have to maintain multiple links :)

Yeah, I found several posts on stackoverflow describing putting "raw." in front will result in what I want. And it did at least for me: downloading the file straight away...
Thanks for the hint, I will link the ZIP too...

So hopefully this is sorted out now and we can get to testing the profiles :D

I'm hoping to fire up my BB again this week for the first time in ages. I will likely flash the firmware and then give these a go.

In the Dual profiles the tool change is available so not visible at the start because they are set to only one extruder.
Switch to "Both extruders Oozless/Ram purge" then the script is there...

hmm I have changed it to X60... becaust the right hot end primed onto the right arm of the wiping thingy.
Sort S3D question how to I rescue my current settings? Just export a FFF Profile?
Because I have now a "works for me" version and I do not want to lose it.
