Perhaps this will seem a bit anal, but I have a nice little torque driver (in/lbs) that I like to use on firearms and I thought I'd use it on this project. That being said is there are recommended torque value for tightening the frame screws?

I am going to guess that there is not a torque spec for the frame screws.

Yeah, trial and hopefully no error ;)
I will be using my Bosch electric screwdriver and going up with the torque until it feels right. But, my BB won't be getting put you until Feb.

Keep turning till the frame cracks then back a bit ;)

I think mine will be into Feb as well sadly. Well at least there'll be a body of experts to help by then. This is my first printer build and from watching the builds so far it looks challenging enough.

They claim the inserts will break before the frame will.

It just needs to be relatively tight but not quite as tight as you can make it
