    Hi to everyone.

My name is Henry, and I am living I Adelaide, Australia. I have been 3D printing for a few years now and I have recently dismantled my Old DIY printer and started with the Tool changer after seeing it on the E3D website. I have downloaded the source ware files from Github, and made most of the parts, as well as purchasing quite a few parts from E3D.

I will be using an Duet3D 6HC Main Board with a PanelDue 7i screen controller. I have connected and assembled the top plate with all motors and belts as well as the print bed and z axis assembly (I will post more photographs of the progress).

I am currently connecting the tool changer motor and proximity switch to the main board. I do not have any wiring kits as these seem to be hard to find online especially in Australia. I am hoping that someone could help with wiring diagrams or any information to help me to make my own kits?

I thank you for any response or help.

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply and suggestion on using your blog, it is very helpful. do you have any idea and how to add in some endstops to the x and y axis, and how the config and macro homing file should be set out.

I haven't added endstop switches to mine, however it should be straightforward. Use the normally-closed contacts of ordinary microswitches, preferably ones designed for low-current use. The X endstop should be mounted on the tool pickup and the wires run back to the main board along with the other tool pickup wires. For how to connect them, see https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Sensors_endstops. If you need more help I suggest you ask at https://forum.duet3d.com/ since this forum doesn't seem to be visited much any more.
