This is best what i have now. I think left nozzle is maybe 10 or 15mm below the maximum. Right is more than that. In next week i probably get this working. Hopefully. Then i can get real numbers.

I'm thinking I might start on implementing this design soon as I like the current IDEX but I like the idea of the rail and the Aero. Ouch the Aero is a lot but I notice there is the upgrade kit.

    1. Will the Aero fit a standard Titan and a Mirrored Titan? I.e. is it just rotated?

    2. Would anyone be willing to order a Misumi rail and have it shipped for me? I'll pay up front obviously. @AndyVirus ?

Might have to order a Duet too

I upgraded a standard titan and a standard mirrored titan to aero so yes the aero will fit its respective titan.

Ouch never mind, even at 470 it would cost 140 USD I am going to roll the dice with the Chinese version :/

I haven't looked into this yet, but does anyone thing we could we gain anything by switching the y axis to linear rails also?

Ah, Misumi state side is more limited on this product line and more expensive for what ever reason.

I'm wondering if anyone else can help me out... @AndyVirus has been great so far in trying to get Misumi to ship the rail directly to me but they won't ship to private addresses or my work address as we are in the defence industry. Unfortunately due to his commitments it will take a while before he can forward the rail to me (leading to a 3 week wait).

Can anyone else jump in? If not then I will go with Andrew.

I got electric done and after little testing my limits are 297.5 for left and 12 for right.
So left can do almost max (297.5mm) and right 288mm. Printing area for both is 12mm to 297,5mm whats mean 285,5mm total.

That 2,5mm is easy to get with little remodeling those y-carriage or giving sandpaper ;) if necessary. Im happy with these.

Is that with cabling all done? Im finding that the caridges meet the cable ties of each preventing that level of reach. If so how have you managed this?

You can get the 520mm from the Misumi US store but you have to do a trick. Click at the top of MIsumi's page to create a quote and put the part number in. It will let you create a quote online then order it. It's an extra step but it works. It was $108.80.
