So I have collected everything to build the miller except for the pully to attach to the brushless motor. I can't seem to find one, idler and 5mm pullys completely swamp my search results. Anyone know of someone who can ship to the US or if there is another workaround?
I'm also unable to find this part for supply in/to the UK. I've tried all the usual UK sources, and Aliexpress/banggood. EU sources are probably best avoided (or unavailable) right now due to the post-Brexit customs fallout. I've found listings on ebay where the 3mm part is out of stock (but 3.175mm available). Seems to be about as rare as hens' teeth. I've also tried looking for any kind of bore/shaft reducer so that the widely-available 5mm bore pulley could be used. Netherlands company Tinkerforge has this which looks good, but that would be a last resort due to Brexit shipping issues. But strangely I've not been able to find that kind of shaft reducer anywhere else - perhaps there is a magic incantation of search terms that would help? I've also considered looking for a motor with 3.175mm shaft so that the 3.175mm pulley could be used, but I could not find anything that would seem to be a drop-in replacement for the recommended motor - I have no experience with RC model motors, so can anyone spot anything suitable? I don't have easy access to a machine shop so I can't, for example, machine my own bore reducer from brass rod. Any other ideas welcome!
