Got a new Chimera and am having trouble with one of the heatbreaks.

I've tried swapping sides and adding more thermal paste. No luck.

Basically if I heat both up to 110 degrees and push in some filament, one side (the problem child) will actually soften the filament while the other does not. It seems to get soft fairly high up in the throat. So I am guessing thermal creep, but why one side only?

The side the stays cool prints just like a V6 while the other side is a mess. The side that is a mess is actually more difficult to push filament through when up to full temp. Any thoughts on what could be going on here?

The fan that came with the Chimera was pretty weak so I swapped it out for a spare V6 fan which pushes much more air. The heat sink is cool to the touch whereas it would get somewhat warm with the old fan.
