I might be an idiot because nobody else seems to be having this problem, but I'm trying to replace the heatbreak in my hot end and while the heatsink comes off easily, the heatbreak is straight up stuck in the heatblock. Anyone have any ideas?

Nuts ! :) Get two to fit the thread on the heat-break and lock them together on the exposed thread. Then heat the block fairly quickly so it expands before the heat-break does, then holding the block very firmly turn the heat-break with a spanner on the nut closest to the block or both if the flats are aligned.

You may be able to get this to work without heat, and it's difficult to heat the block, my choice would be the cooker if you have gas rings.

Don't use pliers on the nuts, but a pipe wrench (the adjustable type so that you can adjust the jaws to be parallel) or similar on the block to be able to hold it firmly and a spanner, preferably on the nuts.
