Hey all, I need help removing broken heatbreaks form my hotentds. So I was working with a single chimera nozzle for a while until I started getting constant clogs. I was constantly removing the nozzle to clean it and eventually my heatbreak just broke from all that tension. I was still not sure why the hotend was clogging all the time, so I thought adding the volcano (which I didn't get to use yet) might help me detect the problem, and it did - the heatbreak was bent by 15-10 degrees angle! I could feel its the problem because when I put filament along it it would jam at the turning point, and I had to jiggle it move thought the corner. So I tried with extreme caution to bend it, but the second heatbreak broke as well! Now I have no idea what to do. This nozzle was not with me for that long. 1. How do I remove the tight breaks stuck in my hotend? 2. Is there a way to get a replacement part? 3. I was working really fearfully with those parts, but it seems they keep breaking - am I missing something?
1. The easiest way i can think of to remove the stumps is to cut a slot into the remaining part with a small dremel and then use a screwdriver in the slot. First heat up the block then using a screwdriver. 2.The heatbreak is a spare you can buy at e3d. 3.Well, never try to unscrew the heatbreak OR nozzle with a cold block.
