I got everything for my new v6 hotend mounted up and ready to go, and was waiting for the first heat to start. And waiting. And waiting. Everything was working (except for getting good prints) when I had my jhead in previously.

After troubleshooting there is good contact between all the wires (checked continuity of both leads and conectors), am getting 12V from my hotend port on the Gen6 board. The heater cartridge is shows as open in both resistance and continuity mode on my multimeter. Is there something else I should check?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Nope, that's it. It does happen sometimes, but rarely. Contact whoever you got it from (E3D or otherwise) and I'm sure they'll send out a replacement.
