Do you have no problems with the fan attached to the motor?

Also tried this on my titan aero tool. As soon I place the fan centrical on the motor the fan get much slow or even stops.

Yesterday i finished the installation of my second hemera direct tool onto slot 3, right beside to my existing hemera direct tool, that i´ve been using for long time. After that, i did some fast and simple four colour prints with all tools and many dual color prints. Every fan worked as aspected...
A few minutes ago i started another test print and both part cooling fans on the hemera direct tools have stoped working. If i take the fans appart, the work just like before. I really don´t have a clue what´s the difference now and why the don´t work anymore.
What is your solution to this?

Any chance you are overtightening the screws holding the fans in? This can bend the frame, and cause the blade to bind. Try installing them very gently.

As soon the fans are not centered to the motor they are working

I found out, that i have two different types of fans, although both are from the same supplier.

    Hemera_PCF.jpg

The ones i bought first (the upper one in the picture) work without any problems, the ones i bought two weeks ago (the one with the three points on the backside) doesn´t work if attached to the stepper.

Maybe it´s because the motor on the upper one is not centered.
I ordered a different type of fan and will try if they´re going to work.
My last option is to convert the hemera direct tools to use a compressor cooling instead as @BrendonBuilds did:

I already tried different fans. Same for all.

But I have an idea: If you place a magnetic metal sheet (around 1mm thick) between the fan and motor it could work. But not tried yet.

I also know Brendons design, but he uses a big membran pump (https://pentairaes.com/outdoor-air-pumps.html)

They are very big and noisy. But with smaller pumps you don't get enough pressure and air flow

Mag-Lev fans are prone to stall when mounted to the back of the hemera. Try using ball-bearing ones.
