Let me first state that I recently upgraded my CR10S4 from its stock hot end and extruder to a Hemera specifically so I could print flexible filaments reliably. On my printer the Hemera prints PLA and PETG fantastically. Really, the best I have ever seen. I used to laugh at the YouTube Videos about "first Layer Porn" until I upgraded to the Hemera. I think its safe for me to assume that (following all the setup instructions from E3D), my Hemera is setup correctly. So here is my issue, I purchased a roll of "Overture TPU" from Amazon with a shore hardness of 95A. I cannot get this filament to reliably feed through the extruder. I have the idler tension increased (from the recommended nominal setting) , running pretty hot at 230C, extruding slow (20 mm/s), faster (30 mm/s) makes no difference. The drive gears turn, the hobs are clean and the idler mechanism "pops" like it is skipping, not pushing the filament into the hot end. Nothing comes out.... I pull the TPU out of the machine, dial the idler tension back to recommended setting and feed PLA or PETG in and the Hemera prints like a dream.... I'm at a loss.... Maybe try another brand of filiment.. But before I do so I wanted to run this past the fine folks in this community as to what else I should try first. (BTW, I have a Titanium heat break in transit thinking this may help in case its a Heat creep issue...) Thanks for reading and your consideration of assistance...
