I just fitted an E3D on a Mini Kossel and was trying the 0.25mm nozzle : http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/r66 ... 6b0026.jpg I was wondering what the limits might be of going into even higher resolution. Does anyone have experience?
I've played down at around 50micron layers with the 0.25mm nozzles with good results. I've not tried pushing it much further than that, just never had the need to do so. I'd quite like to get some nozzles made up in some obscenely small diameters to see how things go with them. I don't know at what point the XYZ resolution, or the E/steps resolution start coming into play, and expect that accuracy would need to be improved before practically seeing any benefits from increasing resolution.
